My photography professor, Leonard Sussman, took this. I think it’s fantastic.

My friend Zach takes photos, this is one of my recent favorites of his.

You are, in fact, a Guy With a Kindle. And no offense, Guy, but you look like a douche bag. … So, yeah, I’m probably going to shoot you a couple of confused dirty looks when I see you on my morning commute. Because I have no control over my glares at that hour and, honestly, you’re making yourself a target by outwardly communicating to the world that you cannot be bothered with ‘pages.’
I’m not sure that’s quite it…
"
Not sure I really like this trend.
I mean sure I have a ton of work to get done today … . Lightroom finally finished rendering 1:1 previews on 9000 photos, and so now I actually have to go through them all.
But still.
Oh well. To work!
I have 9000+ digital photos go to through, and hundreds upon hundreds of 35mm Black & White negatives.
I’m realizing, for one thing, that I’m not really using light room to its full potential. I use the editing features heavily, but I don’t tag any of my photos, they’re just all imported into folders. Some by date, some by event name, it’s totally random.
I have a week to organize these photos, and do all the post-processing. It’s the largest project I’ve ever done by far, and I haven’t given myself enough time to do it. But I’ll manage.
Luckily, I have the *entire* week off. I’ve rented some darkroom space tomorrow, at Print Space, so I should be good to go. I have 6 hours there.
I know NOTHING about digital printing though. Any thoughts? I just need to have everything printed up 8x10. The negatives I’ll be printing myself.
The Photojojo SLR Sloop is the awesomest camera bag I have ever seen. Feel free to buy me one. I’ll love you forever.
